Blush Salon + Spa Website Design

Project Overview
Blush Salon & Spa came back to me for a complete WordPress website redesign that would better reflect their brand and the high-end experience they provide their clients. Their business had evolved, their services had expanded, and the existing site no longer reflected the elevated experience they provide their clients. The goal was to create a custom website that felt refined and modern while making it easier for visitors to explore services, meet the team, and ultimately book an appointment.
The new design uses a clean, editorial approach with strong typography, high-quality photography, generous white space, and subtle movement throughout the site. Rather than relying on unnecessary effects, each section was designed with a clear purpose and hierarchy. Services are organized so visitors can quickly find information about hair, extensions, head spa treatments, skin care, bridal services, and more, while prominent calls to action make booking easily accessible throughout the experience. The site was designed responsively from the beginning, ensuring the same attention to detail carries through from desktop to mobile.
Behind the design, I also focused heavily on usability, performance, accessibility, and search engine and AI optimization. The WordPress site uses a flexible content structure that makes it easy for Blush to manage services and team members while maintaining a consistent design across the site. Page structure, content, metadata, local SEO, image optimization, and technical performance were all considered as part of the build – not added as an afterthought. The end result is a website that better represents the Blush brand while also working harder for the business. It gives prospective clients a clear picture of the salon, its people, and its services while providing Blush with a faster, more flexible platform that can continue to grow with them.
Project Highlights
Integrated Instagram Feed
In the salon and spa industry, pictures are everything. The latest styles, trends, hair, and nails are all best shown and shared on social media. To encourage user engagement with Blush's Instagram account, I built a feed to embed into their website. It automatically displays their latest posts, including likes and comments, and gives users a way to interact with Blush directly without having to leave the website.

Flexible Content Management
Built with ACF Pro, the site gives Blush an easy way to manage services, descriptions, and pricing without touching page layouts. Flexible custom fields keep the content structured behind the scenes, so updates stay consistent across the site. The result is a system that is simple for the salon to maintain, reduces the chance of formatting mistakes, and makes future changes faster and more scalable.

Navigation Within Reach
A fixed drawer-style menu keeps navigation within reach from anywhere on the site, creating a consistent experience across desktop and mobile. It slides in cleanly without taking over the page, and on mobile it feels especially natural; users can open, browse, and dismiss it with a quick flick of the thumb. The result is faster access to key pages without interrupting the overall flow of the experience.
