TransACT HTML Email Design

TransACT, a leading education software company, reached out to me to implement an HTML email for their TravelTracker Routing product. They worked with a design agency to create the page layout but needed my help to turn the design into HTML code that would be delivered through HubSpot CRM. I’ll be honest, I have not had an opportunity to work with the HubSpot CRM before this project, so there was definitely a bit of a learning curve on this one. The other major challenge on this project? They wanted the email to be responsive. One quick look at the design and you can see major (if not impossible) hurdles to ensure that layout displays correctly on all screen sizes and devices, especially considering the restrictive nature of email clients. After discussion we pushed forward and did an image-based design that we knew would scale seamlessly.
