Bartlett Aquatic Center Map

Recently the Bartlett Park District completed a major renovation of its Aquatic Center, transforming it from a pool into a water park.  To highlight the new features and improvements and ensure patrons could find everything easily, they asked me to create an illustrated map of the facility.  They wanted it to be fun, but also informative and accurate.  The map was drawn from an isometric view as it provides dimension and depth without the distortion of shape created by true perspective.   This creates a clear, easy to understand environment.  The bonus?  It allowed us to leverage stock imagery for generic elements, which decreased the project timeline and allowed me to focus on creating the standout features like the water slides and spray playground.  All elements are vector artwork, which allows the map to be scaled to any size and used in just about any application while remaining perfectly sharp.
